Mommy & Me Seed Starting Workshop
Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2-3 pm at Quail Hollow Flower Farm
We can't wait to spend the afternoon with you and your kiddo on the farm while you learn how to start your own seeds at home! Don't let the title fool you... dads, grandparents, or any care giver can bring a kiddo!
In this workshop you and your child will have the opportunity to...
- learn what seeds need to grow
- create a seed journal
- read "A Seed is Sleepy"
- plant seeds together
- play a flower-inspired review game
All materials will be provided as well as step-by-step, hands-on instruction. We will sow Zinnias, Ruby Moon Hyacinth Beans, and Giant Marigolds. Your child will be able to take these home to watch them grow. You can expect blooms around late June that will make some beautiful little bouquets. A care card with information about each flower will be sent home with each child.
Workshops are suitable for ages 5-7 (there is flexibility here as long as your kiddo is able to participate maturely in the group). Parents are required to be present at the workshop with their child at all times.

*Workshops are held rain or shine, but you will be contacted in the event of extreme weather. Refunds will be available if we have to cancel. Refunds for any other reason will not be available, but you are welcome to send a friend in your place in the event you are unable to make it to your purchased workshop. Thank you for understanding.
