SIMMER POT BAR FAQ's

WHAT IS A SIMMER POT?

A simmer pot is simply a pot of water filled with the natural scents of the season that simmer on your stove.  They keep the air moist during the driest months of the year and fill the house with the scents of the season. Our Gardener's Friend Simmer Pots are perfect as hostess gifts, gift toppers, house warming gifts, Christmas gifts, and office gifts! Available October through March.

WHAT IS A SIMMER POT BAR?

Our Simmer Pot Bars are set up on the Traveling Flower Cart and brought to events so guests can create customized simmer pot kits to take home.  The Simmer Pot Bar is perfect for showers, private events, birthday parties, work events, and church events.

WHAT ARE MY SIMMER BAR OPTIONS?

You have two options to choose from.  You can either rent the Simmer Pot Bar and we'll drop it off at your event or you can choose the Pop-Up Bouquet Bar and we will have a Quail Hollow representative at the Cart for the event, helping to direct guests and answer questions.  Both options are the same price.

ARE THERE DIFFERENT SIMMER BAR OPTIONS? 

Fall Simmer Pot Bar

Fall Simmer Pot Bar- This option includes 6-8 of our fall ingredients including, but not limited to:

• cinnamon
• clove
• orange slices
• apple slices
• pumpkin spice
• all spice
• rosemary
• bay leaf 

Christmas Simmer Pot Bar

Christmas Simmer Pot Bar- This option includes 6-8 of our Christmas ingredients including, but not limited to:

• cinnamon
• clove
• orange slices
• cranberry
• anise
• rosemary
• peppermint
• coffee bean
  

*The host can choose one of the scent options above, or choose to have all of our ingredients available for guests to choose from.  All options are the same price.

HOW IS PAYMENT HANDLED?

Simmer Pot Bars are pre-paid by the host and a deposit is required to reserve a spot on our schedule.  We will provide enough ingredients for the number of pre-paid kits with an option to have more on standby for those unsure of the guest count.  It is up to the host if they would prefer to arrange for their guests to pay for their simmer pot kits during the event as a cash bar style set up.
