Bill and I have dreamed of owning a little land to steward since our first baby was born in 2008, and began searching for our homestead. After over a decade of searching, through life’s twists and turns, more babies, adoptions, and everything crazy you can imagine in between, we finally decided to just stay put in the home that we loved and wait on God's timing, to “grow where we were planted.” We started growing everything we could in our little suburban neighborhood lot in Norman. After turning our entire back yard into cozy little potager gardens, we started focusing on medicinal herbs and flowers in addition to fruits and veggies. This turned into an extreme love and affection for flowers, and just like that, Quail Hollow Flower Farm was born. We decided to name our little urban flower "farm" after the street we lived on at the time, Quail Hollow Drive. This is where our dream started to turn into a reality and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. |
Just as we had settled on the idea of staying put and making the most of our current blessings, in June of 2024, a perfect property became available in Bill’s home town of Blanchard and our wait was over. Leaving my sweet little meandering pathways through pockets of secret gardens in my backyard was difficult and bittersweet, but I have to pinch myself every time I look out my window at the vast possibilities that this new adventure holds for us. The new flower field is nearly complete and we have thousands of seedlings just waiting to get in the ground and into your bouquets. |
We look forward to sharing this dream with you through our locally and sustainably grown flowers. Flowers are such a beautiful depiction of God's beauty and life and we hope we can brighten your day with the abundant harvests from our little patch of heaven. Blessings to you and yours and thank you for being a part of our journey. |
